SP provides medical office planning for a variety of physician practices.

In this area, our work focuses more on strategic planning with the aim of achieving two goals – efficient patient care and triple bottom line.

Efficient patient encompasses multiples concerns to include improvement of way-finding, reduction of travel distances, efficiency of Triage, positioning of staff, reduction of patient waiting times, reduction of patient anxiety, reduction of staff-to-patient infections and patient-to-patient infections, leveraging of current technologies to speed communication among staff and communication with patients. We also benchmark our work against evidenced based design approaches that are known to contribute towards healing.

The business bottom line is served when patient satisfaction is improved and when operations reach optimum efficiency. Achieving this level is aided by having the right program, strategic allocation of responsibilities between core staff and support staff, and environmental measures that contributes to increased productivity and sustainability.
